We are so pleased that Eden and Sherman have developed a mutual love and understanding for each other. Those of you with children know there are enough things to worry about and wondering if her and the dog are getting along is one less thing on our "worry list." Our biggest problem in this area seems to be that we don't get off the couch to grab a camera when they are playing together. We got the camera rolling this time and we hope you enjoy:

Don't tell the authorities...
We've been debating for a few weeks now whether to let the world know about this latest step in Eden's development. Dad is of the opinion that we all skirt the law every now and then (think speeding...you know who you are.) Mom is of the opinion that little girls should always behave and not tempt fate or flaunt the law.
Either way, the deed has been done and will most likely continue. Let's just hope that a certain Uncle of Eden's who happens to be in the law enforcement field doesn't happen upon this underage driver next time he's in the Nappanee Martins!
Just try Uncle Evan...You'll never catch me!

Now I'm Mad!!!!!
So, before you all rush to judgement...the back-story is that little E. isn't supposed to take her shoes off unless instructed (as much as you can instruct an 18.5 month old :) Anyway, I'm at the sink when I hear a commotion so I turn around to find the scene revealed below. I had to get this on tape...don't feel guilty laughing at her frustration. It seems like little Miss Independent was bound and determined to get herself free without Daddy's help. It didn't work out that way but she was fine...once she got herself free of that silly rug!
I think Peeps would have something to say to whoever thinks velcro is a wonderful invention.
