Weekend Fun!

Sorry for the delay in posting...Mom and Dad had to recover from another fun filled and busy weekend.  Let me share with you why I had A TON O' FUN this past weekend.

Friday night was a beautiful wedding that we went to.  I was excited to wear my newest pretty outfit that Mommy found for me:

But the big day was on Saturday.  We had so much fun on our field trip to Rise N' Roll a few weeks ago that we decided to head over there again. 

I invited two of my best friends (we go way back), N. & B. to come along with us.  They agreed that the donuts were delicious!

After we carbed up, we headed into Downtown Shipshewana to the Davis Mercantile Exchange.  We found this pretty neat contraption called a "carousel" there and Mom and Dad let us take a ride on it. 

I wasn't too excited for the carousel but my friends really loved it (as the pictures above show.)  I still had a wonderful time with Mom, Dad, and some friends.  

Sunday after church and my nap we were able to go visit family and afterwards we stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up some groceries.  It was fun for me (I really like riding in carts and throwing stuff on the floor) but was also cool because my Uncle Jesse ran into an old friend from his days in the meat department.  Here they are catching up:

I'm pretty excited because he's already promised me that when I'm old enough, he'll teach me how to select a good Christmas Ham!

Dum Dums Are!

I love them cause they taste great but also helped me tolerate my sore throat and cough I had for a few days.  I'm all better now so more posts to follow from Mom and Dad.

Field Trip!

My two favorite (1st) cousins come over Saturday morning and Mom and Dad said we would be doing something fun and exciting called a "Field Trip."  I hadn't really been on one yet but thought I would play it cool and tag along.  The "Boys" were pretty excited so I trusted them and away we went in Mom's car:

Several of Mom and Dad's friends had been speaking wondrous things about a bakery over in Shipshewana.  You've seen Dad...it didn't take too much convincing to get him in a car and driving for some baked goods.  Anyway, here's where we ended up:

So we got here safely and were all told to be on our "best behavior."  We listened (really) and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast treat...doughnuts!:

And not just any doughnuts....powdered doughnuts to boot!:

We had a great time with my Mom and Dad.  I was so thankful for my sweet treat that I even helped to clean up my own self:
